This week’s kitty is River!

Clearly River has a lot of energy.  He’s nearing a year and a half old, but has the energy of a kitten!  What’s not to love?  River finds his way into every fun thing he sees.  So basically River is a lot of fun to be around and is looking for a home to call his own.

Could your home be the one?  To learn more, contact the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA.  And feel free to check out their other animals while you’re at it!

This week’s meowser is an older fellow who needs a little help.

Buddy

Some might say Buddy isn’t a very handsome cat, but I say you can read his hard life on his face.  He is an older cat who has spent his life on the streets of Maine, which may not be the hardest, but they sure are some of the coldest.  For just a few eye drops a day, you have the lucky chance to snuggle with this fine gentleman and watch him spend his golden years in safety and happiness.  How could you resist an offer like that?

For more information on Buddy, or any of the animals at his shelter, please visit the Camden Rockport Animal Rescue League website, or their petfinder page.

For a second I thought it was Tuesday and was freaking out about forgetting this.  Then I realized it’s Monday and that made me sad.

This week’s kitty is Margarite!  She’s a sweet, young dilute tortie who is looking for a cozy house to spend her life in.  Could yours be the one?

What a sweet little face!

Margarite is currently living at the West Milford Animal Shelter Society in West Milford, New Jersey.  My boys came from New Jersey, so they’re turning out some awesome cats down there!  Clearly this girl is going to be an awesome friend to somebody – I just hope she finds them soon.  She’s fully vetted and ready to meet you!

For more information, please contact WMASS at their website, or check out their facebook.

It’s Monday, again.  Boo!

The weeks feel like they move pretty quickly in the summer.  It’s a shame – I’d love to savor the weekends, somehow fit in everything I want to do!

This week’s meowser is Kallista!  She is a picture of beauty and mystery:

In just before closing!  Sorry about the delay – I’m sick, at work and swamped!

Anywho, this is Boomer:

Quick, look surprised!

(pictures belong to Charles River Alleycats)

Boomer has been chillaxing at the Charles River Alleycats rescue, waiting for YOU!  And no, I didn’t pick Boomer because his name happens to be a character I like in Battlestar.  Ok – maybe I did.

This week’s meowser is a mom who looks like she could really use a break from kittens.

Somebody get me out of here!

At only six pounds, she probably needs all the help she can get with those babies!  This three year old kitty is only known as “A1575169” but I’m sure you could come up with a nicer name for her.

Do you think you have the right home for this girl?  She looks like she could use a nice soft pillow on a window seat.  If you would like to learn more, please contact Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control.

This week’s Meowser is a cheeky fellow.  Waffles should have been named Dali – don’t you think?  Look at that mustache:

This week’s Meowser is a real stunner.

(photo property of the humane society of greater nashua)

Rolanda is a GORGEOUS tortie from the Humane Society of Greater Nashua.  She is around six years old, so she will have settled into a calmer older cat personality while still having many, many years left.  She’s spayed, up to date on her shots and has all her claws (yay!).  Rolanda is a very shy girl and hasn’t really had a chance to shine at the shelter – ideally she’d love a quiet evening, snoozing on your lap.

I think you should give Rolanda the home she so desperately wants.  If you’d like to hear more about her, please contact the Humane Society of Greater Nashua at their website.
